Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

So Utah's reasonable, moderate, Republican governor has been tapped to be ambassador to China. Damn it! He annoys the local loony tunes, we need him here! And the local loony tunes are happy! Damn it!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congratulations, le bon!

msbelle, I want the most peace for you and for mac. He's such a lucky kid. You're a strong woman.

Collapsed again. I am so over this. I thought it was a meds thing, but I'm not taking the suspect med anymore. Clipped my cheekbone. Hoping it doesn't mark. I'm still sporting the goose egg on the back of my head.

Sweet blessed mother, ita!

Oh, I read that as "chipped" your cheekbone, and I thought you were being a little excessively blase about "I hope it doesn't leave a mark." I know you're tough, woman, but really.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Um, is there a way to tell bedbug bites from mosquito bites?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Um, is there a way to tell bedbug bites from mosquito bites?

IIRC they last longer (like a week) and they often are in groupings, because the bug moves if it has been disturbed.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Goes orange, broke me out badly. Avoid. AVOID.

I bow to Plei's vast experience. Thanks! I've had some really good luck with Mary Kay's mineral makeup--my sister is a dealer and the price is right with her discount but I thought I might want to try something else. I've tried Alima but it made me break out.

I need to order an UD grindhouse because all my 24/7 eyeliners are dull and my other sharpener butchered one of them up.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

People respond differently to bedbug bites. For me, mosquito bites leave white marks that swell a little, and bedbug bites leave small red marks without swelling. The red marks get darker if I take a hot shower, and are usually gone in less than 24 hours.

A good source for info is Bedbugger.com

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Congrats bon!

ita, yeesh!

In the last five years I:

- Was Swallowed by the Pink House of Everything Breaking
- Raised a litter of feral kittens.
- Were roommates with our dear friends from Chicago.
- Abandoned our dear friends from Chicago in NM to move to AZ.
- Joined & quit an R&B band.
- Bought land.
- Built a house made entirely of awesome.
- Were terribly fortunate to continue to have our own nonprofit wherein we drove well over 200,000 miles and taught music to over 300 kids.
- Winter gardened and fed birds.

Life has been pretty good when you look at it like that.
