“Not dead yet!”

Hec, the cat is adorable!

Matilda got these.

Hee! Abby has a version of those One Stars, but with sparkly pink stars on them. She's quite proud. I'm quite petrified that I had to buy her a ladies size 6 shoe.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

In five years I was fourth chair for a trial which was incredible, got engaged and married, moved to an apartment four blocks away and then 3000 miles away, traveled through Thailand and took and passed the California Bar!

I got another nephew, changed jobs, lost 40lbs and counting and BOUGHT A FUCKING HOUSE.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Let's see, past five years, I've done a lot of grad school work, taught for two summers at CTY (a job I loved), went to Israel twice, presented at two national math conferences, took trapeze lessons, screwed up my shoulder enough that I'm not sure I'll be able to do trapeze anymore, went to Italy, became vegan, dated a bit but didn't get any sort of long-term relationship out of any of it, explored the various synagogues in DC and figured out where I fit in there, and, um, can't think of anything else right now.
