The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What are people doing this weekend?

Tonight I am going to visit a kitten to see if he is for me. Tomorrow morning some the new furniture is arriving, so I will be cleaning a lot.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

There is this very nice lady who is teaches one of our classes at the school of Nursing who friended me on Facebook. And I friended her back. And she posts some of the most whacked out conservative links and my blood pressure is rising and I need to defriend her or something, but we actually communicate about the class through Facebook (she is really hard to get ahold of and does not answer phone messages or emails.

AND- I don't understand this argument against liberals (which I hear all the time)

I used to be what I thought was a liberal. If, at the time, anyone had asked me to explain myself, I would have said that I opposed Jim Crow laws, that I believed workers were entitled to make a decent wage and work in a safe environment, and that American citizens shouldn’t be discriminated against because of their race, religion or national origin.

I quit being a liberal because I didn’t believe that members of particular minority groups deserved advantages denied to others; that illegal aliens weren’t entitled to anything but a swift kick to the backside; that being a devout Christian didn’t make you a bad person; and that capitalism was a system that worked, while socialism not only didn’t work, but, wherever it was tried, turned into a tyranny.

Yay kitten!

Tonight I may order Chinese Delivery. I have never ordered delivery to my home in my entire life, which sounds crazy, but it is a little unfamiliar. Without a car, though, I am craving all the things I used to order and then pick up in my car!

Kitten!!

My brother is in town this weekend so he and my nephew can pack up his dorm room, so I'll be heading down to my dad's to see them tomorrow after I get off work at B&N.

I've got a half day today, so I'll be heading to the grocery store, then home to do laundry and dishes and clean. Tomorrow will also be trying to get over to Goodwill to drop off stuff and possibly drop off my computer at recycling.

Then Sunday, I'll be couch shopping. Lots of furniture stores are starting their Memorial Day sales this weekend, and since I'll be going cheap with this one, I'm hoping to keep it under $500. (The last one cost me $1100 and only lasted six years, so I learned my lesson--if you're fat and tend to fall asleep on the couch, don't spend too much since you're only going to be replacing it in a few years anyway.)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I didn’t believe that members of particular minority groups deserved advantages denied to others

Spoken like someone who's not a member of those minority groups.

Coding and Sleeping

Cleaning, writing, yardwork, do something with the kids, that will probably finish it off.
