I just bought a label-maker. I am kind of excited about it.

Ok, I did write a novel. I entered a contest and lost. I learned to blog.
msbelle, don't tell my husband. He'd drop me for you in a heartbeat.
A novel is definitely something. I don't think I've written more than a five-paragraph article since 2004.
- Greatly expanded my circle of friends
- Had my apartment repainted, redecorated
- Gone on a bunch of dates, nothing sustainable though
Pretty lame.
In the past 5 years:
I got a new job, and then another new one
I moved to NoCal
Didn't buy a house
Traveled quite a bit, usually with Buffistas or Buffista adjacent people
Ozzie
Got very involved in a new fandom
Ate a lot of sushi, some of it still moving
- Had a grown kid boomerang
- Met Buffistas
- Met Nilly!
- Visited the left coast and was charmed
- Visited the R&R Hall of Fame with more Buffistas
- Weathered another kid's divorce and custody issues
- Visited the left coast again! and met Even More! Buffistas
- Lost a child, and discovered the true breadth and depth of support Buffistas offer without hesitation or condition.
- Visited Seattle and a handful of Buffistas, explored a place H and I had dreamed of living
- Lost my mom
- Took a second look at PNW, pulled up our socks and
- Bought a house, and
- Am packing like an autonomon because we move in less than three weeks!
Pretty lame.
Given the number of dates I've not been on since moving here, I'd say you're doing better than me.
Plus, I know how long it took to get your apartment done, and what an accomplishment that actually is.
What's this date thing y'all are talking about?
ION, my boss just gave me an Atomic Fireball.
