It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

shrift! The name of your company does not contain a comma, correct?

(Yes, I did get asked this as a serious research question).

I had a client that would get seriously tetchy if there was a comma between [corporate name] and Inc. "We spent millions of dollars on our branding campaign!" etc.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The "traditional" fifth-year anniversary gift is Wood, and the "modern" is Silverware.

“Not dead yet!”

What's changed in your life in the last five years?

Sold three books, had one canceled.
Became published, won awards.
Moved house (again)
Lost a beloved dog, acquired a cat and two more beloved dogs.
Transitioned from homeschooling to Montessori to public school
Had surgery
Watched my mom lose her mind and start dating my father after thirty years divorced

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

In the last five years so little has changed in my life it is almost scary. The kids have gotten taller.

Actually, Gud, I think that stability has been a huge accomplishment with a lot of work in it.

Watching the astronauts work.

Is seriously nailbiting. I've now been there for 3 live "Let me give it one last try and if that doesn't work, we're going to have to give up on ______" and on the last ditch effort, it works! I like their writers.

Seriously though, it's some amazing crazy shit they are doing up there. And then this thingie came untethered and started to fly into the interior of the telescope! And Mass lunged upward and caught it! Dude! Do not go so fast in space! It scares the animals! And plugging something in is seriously hard if you can't anchor yourself anywhere.
