WH FINALLY got into the internet age.
Orange foofy boycat on my porch the other night is Boots. Belongs to LeShawn, a door down. He's an escape artist she doesn't try to keep in anymore because it is futile.
I love wandering out onto the porch to clean up and having neighbors.
K points out that the Obamas are a different generation in many ways.
I believe JZ is a friend of the Comics Curmudgeon.
My webcomic regulars are Dinosaur Comics, Questionable Content, and Hark, A Vagrant! (i.e., Kate Beaton). Kate Beaton is Teh Awesome. I believe Vonnie turned me onto QC, and I remember spending like three hours one evening reading the entire archive. Crazy!
Dylan is soooo cute.
I am so tired I can barely move.

It would be awesome if I were, but, alas, I am not. Though I am a fan.
Saving the Dylan sings French video for a less ungodly hour, when Matilda is awake to see it too.
Drew will be situated on the robotic arm, and John will be the free-flying (but tethered!) astronaut during EVA #1. It should be an exciting day.
Very exciting! I'll have to check out the YouTube links—thanks for including them! It's amazing how blasé we've gotten about this sort of thing. Humans are floating about in space. Isn't it great that we can get together the mental and physical resources to make that happen?
Just spent an hour reading Medium Large. I'm going to end up with an entire Google Reader folder filled with nothing but web comics.

Louis CK was on a late night talk show complaining about this. How jaded people are that they complain about airline travel--they've lost the awe of flying through the air at hundreds of miles an hour. And they're impatient with their mobile phones--which have to send signals into space while they wait. Very funny bit.
I really need some coffee this morning. Too gronky to make it.
My mom was in a waiting room somewhere, I think waiting for her car, and everyone was watching the launch. I found this cheering.
