I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Man, I used to hate Andy Capp.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's been so long since I've had a paper with a comics section that I don't even know what's out there anymore.

Well, I'm really liking Lio.

It's well drawn, macabre and funny.

My friend Josh used to be obsessed with Apartment 3-G because it ran in the LA Times.

His fries were pretty good, though.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I don't know if they're the best web comics ever, but I regularly visit Wondermark, Questionable Content, and The Devil's Panties. The last one is partly because the artist is local and I don't see a lot of comics that reference the central NC art/goth scene.

brillig

But what if you live in a high-crime area?

Then I guess Family Circus doesn't give a damn because he didn't show anyone in a high crime area not having his prayers answered. Or you could accept that yes, some people consider the stories of essentially dull people in suburbia worth telling and reading and find an edgier comic to read.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I love Frazz and Get Fuzzy because they are awesome. I also love Luann and Rose is Rose, even though they are not awesome. I hate 9 Chickweed Lane, because I can't tell one character from another, which I put down to bad writing.

And I like Fred Bassett. Yes, it's inconsequential, but he's a nice doggish dog.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Wondermark!

Andy Capp and The Lockhorns were vile. Or possibly still are. I'm not about to waste any Google-fu checking to see if either one is still extant.

I also kinda loathe Howard Huge.

When I was wee Fred Basset was okay by me, mostly, all squat and dogly and living in his exotic UKian golfy landscape.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Uncle Funny Bunny and Chumpy can't be the worst ever because it has a great title.

I swear I read the title as "Unfunny Bunny and Chumpy" and thought that was a little meta to be "world's worst comic".

For Better or For Worse has become the worst comic out there.

What are you hating about it?

I was going to ask the same thing.

Punishingly Intricate

Scrappy, I love Luann too! or, well, "love" may be too strong a word. I want to know what's going to happen next.

Though I think Dinosaur Comics has a claim.

Every card I've given my boyfriend so far in our relationship has been a Dinosaur Comic card.
