But a pretty good episode of Seinfeld.
(Likewise, I can't completely hate on Family Circus because of all the material it provided to Zippy the Pinhead.)
And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

The worst comics of my childhood were: Andy Capp, and Fred Basset.
The second so astonishingly unfunny and uninteresting as to be almost a Zen Koan of why-bother.
