Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Trixie Belden's mother used milk-soaked bread in her burgers.

That's because they were poor!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

No lumps, ita, but it was the back of his head. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Isn't milk-soaked bread the secret to good meatloaf and meatballs? Although like Jesse I tend to think a good burger is nothing but meat, salt, and heat.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was about to type this exact thing! The milk-soaked bread helps to keep meatballs light. But that's not a texture you want in a good burger.

Now that it's summer I want to start grinding my own burger meat for the grill. Mmmmm, burgers.

Because books.

Isn't milk-soaked bread the secret to good meatloaf and meatballs?

Yes, this. Although I agree on the burgers, I do like a little chopped fresh onion in them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's how we'd make ketleti - milk-soaked bread, ground beef, egg binder, rolled in bread crumbs. It's a flavor I like, but it's not a burger.

Yeah, I'm not opposed to a little onion. Or worcestershire sauce. Mmmm.

I've got to come up with pseuds for my neighbors. 10 hosted the get together. 14 is the other immediate neighbor.

I don't remember 10 doing anything special to the burgers, but new people were arriving, so I didn't see. But he strikes me as an organic, leash-fed and massaged type so the meat probably mattered a lot.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I like Blue Cheese mixed in with meat in burgers (and meatloaf!).

Chamomile and black tea are good for angry stupid skin, right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's because they were poor!

They were not! Just not rich like the Wheelers and the Lynches. Any family that was going to let Trixie have a horse can't be that poor.

I don't salt my burgers, but otherwise I do season the fuck out of them.
