'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

One of the best aspects of this old house is that because the old owners had a basement fire caused by an electric dryer, the insurance payment paid for all new wiring. You can actually run two appliances in the kitchen at the same time! (Which was not true of my old apartment.) Luxury!

Nice!

My kitchen is mostly new wiring, and the basement was wired whenever it was refinished, probably sometime in the 1970's. But the rest of the house is all old. Which is why my computer is in the basement--the only room outside the kitchen and bath with three-pronged plugs.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Good dog, I forgot to sign out of my YT account on mom's laptop and now I'm getting nasty comments because Mum decided to go around calling people idjits using my account (she didn't realize this until it was too late).

She doesn't realize that there's no point in making a couple of comments, because it's unfair to the billion other stupid videos don't get the same honesty.

I'm watching the Cubs beating the Brewers on tv, and they just showed the Sausage Race, which is always fun and a highlight of any Brewers home game. Looks like Italian Sausage won today.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hopefully, no sausages were knocked down or otherwise harmed in today's race....

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'm cleaning the house - straightening really. Put away 3 loads of laundry. Sorted out mac's t-shirt drawer for the rest of spring into summer. Re-filled the plastic tubs I used for the flea-market. Washed dishes. And now having some water and a break.

Next up is hanging up clothes in my room and putting away the remainder of the flea market no-sales.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hmm. I want a cheeseburger for dinner. But enough to go get one? Unclear.

I just had a cheeseburger. That I had delivered. It was not the cheeseburger of my dreams, but it did the trick.

I think Oz was expecting the delivery guy to come in.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I ordered one to pick up! I'm not sure who here would deliver one to me. Which is weird, I realize.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I remembered who would deliver to me, but it's the place I'm boycotting. The burger I did get was tragically overcooked, alas.
