I went to see Star Trek today, and hung out with someone I hadn't really hung out with before (yay for Facebook chat, because that's how I ended up talking to her and suggesting we see it together!). And then ended up going from there to a whole other movie with friends at the Transgender Film Festival (which I didn't even know was happening). Talk about a switch!
And then somehow while tasting a friend's soup (which was made wrong and eventually sent back) at dinner got a bite that had too much spice in it, and burnt my tongue and lip. OW.
I'm thinking I may bail on the "going out dancing" part of the evening, now that I'm finally home.
The knit flesh suits are part of an Art Project that photographs various families in them. It's still a candidate for the Craftastrophe site, but I at least give them credit for deliberately
trying
to be appalling/funny!
I think I sprained something laughing.
That is the funniest thing I have ever seen.
Also, I wonder where they get the clothes, because they are note perfect!
Happy Mothers Day to all moms and mom substitutes out there!!
I just called my mom and left her a message (she's probably at church) in the form of the music for Happy Birthday:
Happy Mothers Day to you
Happy Mothers Day to you
Your card is in the mail as usuallll
And I'll give you your present when I see you in July!
OK, it didn't scan properly, but it conveyed what I meant.
Okay, Motherlover was wrong on so many levels and so very funny. And I'm with Sophia, the clothes were utterly perfect.
