I've been quite lazy today, but I did manage to get seven pages of something written, which is seven more than I've done in months, so that's good.
Love those wire shelves. I have two sets in the shed and one in the garage and will probably get more as I get more organized. Even with so many things in boxes, having the boxes on shelves rather than piled on the floor seems like progress.
We went out this morning and grazed the free samples at Costco, then to the really nice nursery up the road and got a gorgeous climbing rose (called Night Owl). I then went to a free Intro to Yoga workshop at the studio near my office. Nice place and I an planning to start going. They are really into a non-judgmental atmosphere and that should work, since I am judgmental enough of MYSELF thankyewverymuch.

That was fundamentally wrong.
Ok, that was fun. Next door made burgers, people brought wine and beer and salads and fruit and I got to meet a whole bunch of teachers and K-street environment and health lobbyists (ok, 3) who are all my neighbors and it was not stressful or anything. And strawberry shortcake was a hit.
I like my neighbors.

Oh, and for msbelle, neighbor with kid was married briefly, apparently.
Oh, and I was the first non-work physics person one of my new neighbors had met. She teaches HS physics and was 99% sure she'd never met someone with a physics background outside of work.
