I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Assuming that you are trying to prevent something -- most things I've read say a 10% weight loss is enough. However I will say it didn't work in my case. when i was at my lowest adult weight, I ended with diabetes

hip deep in pie

That's not fun, shrift. any of it.

I made it to the vet and the drugstore, but I feel vaguely nauseated. Opening up at 20lb bag of kibble didn't help. My god, the smell. The cats think this is Xmas morning. they were eating right from the bin of food as I was pouring the food in.

I was thinking of going to Star Trek tomorrow, but maybe I will go today. I dunno...it seems a shame to go to the movies on a sunny weekend day, but tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer!! I'd like to find a friend to go with me, I suppose I should start calling around.

I'm supposed to go out dancing late tonight. Tomorrow, I have no plans, unless I go spectate at a softball game that the girl I have a crush on is playing at. I was invited, but by one of her teammates. I can't quite decide if that would be weird or not.

The status is NOT quo.

I would go with you if I were closer, meara!

The book was actually in my bed. Not sure how I missed that.

Joining you in migraine pain, shrift. Off to find my meds.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Joining you in migraine pain, shrift.

Me too. I was actually looking forward to doing some stuff that involved leaving the house, but right now I am not sure that is going to happen.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The book was actually in my bed.

Ha! I was going to say check under the covers.

All migraines should go away now.

I had a headache when I woke up early this morning, but it was more a hangover...due to my migraine meds, one drink makes me hungover. Sigh. Regular painkiller and some water have mostly taken care of it though.
