Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I could have slept all day, but made myself get up. Now I am propping my eyes up, but I still think it's the better call -- I know I'm going to spend hours on the couch before I get moving, and I'd rather get that process started now!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

A friend ran across High School Musical Pickles -- no, I'm NOT making this up. I've never seen the movie... is this some sort of tie-in?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can someone tell me where I put my book? I know it was around here somewhere.

On top of the fridge?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Another quiet day here...

hip deep in pie

It's either beside your bed or comfy chair, ita.

I tried to go out for the first time since Thursday to weed the garden. As I am crouching down to pull dandelions, I feel the ass of my gardening pants ripping (it's an old pair of cords), then about 10 minutes in, I feel rain. Clearly, the omens are telling me to stay inside. Also, I was feeling pretty head spinny after only 15 minutes. I think I am sicker than I think I am.

I tried to let Oz come outside with us. Wearing a harness, but nit on a leash. He was fine at first, stuck around the stairs eating grass. But something freaked him out and he got all puffy tailed and semi-wild. I tried to grab him and bring him in, but he wriggled out of his harness and took off. he ran inside the house, thank dog. Even when I cam inside, he freaked when he saw me. When something freaks him out, he doesn't seem to recognize me. It was only when he got close enough to give me a sniff he stopped panicking.

Of course, all the weirdness disappeared when Oz wanted my yogurt.

As much as I don't want to leave the house again, I have to go buy catfood. And milk.

I need coffee and food - should have done that earlier.

Punishingly Intricate

Trying to figure out what to do for the rest of the day. Went for a shortish but nice ride already. Thought I'd go back out to the farmer's market but I don't feel like rushing (it closes at noon and i'd have to change out of bike clothes and get cash somewhere). I think I might take a little nap!
