All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Cool.

A friend of mine used to live here, in a 2 bedroom in the A tower. Pre-renovation. This was a place where her bathroom ceiling fell in. Anyway, back then, it rented for $900/mo. I wonder what they go for now? [link]

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

No particular weekend plans, aside from Mothers' Day stuff with G's mom.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've plans to see Trek tomorrow with an old friend. Otherwise, there may be some yardwork and housework, and the usual mix of learning stuff and making pretty things.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have discovered something.

Do not try to administer kitty medication while in your underwear. Ouch!

Yikes.

I used to drive by that building every day. It's been interesting to watch them transform it.

Not javachik

I should be working but ever since they moved me to this nearly hermetically-sealed office away from any kind of hubbub, I crave reading about conversations since I can't hear any, at all, and I live alone, and my cats are not very good at answering me when I talk to them. Ahem.

If anyone out there has stuff on VHS tapes that they want to keep and have converted onto DVDs, let me know--earlier this year, I bought a DVD/VCR combo that lets me rip discs. I'll be happy to do so for anyone out there!!

Kathy A, could I take you up on your offer to convert VHS tape to a DVD?

When Henry (my ex) and I bought our house in 1984, a friend of ours came over and made a VHS video of the house, us, all our belonging for insurance purposes. It's now the only documentation I have of certain aspects of the house that have changed. I'd LOVE to have it converted to a DVD. It's hilarious, since Bill narrated it as he walked around the house. Also, Henry's a funny guy. Course it may only be hilarious to me.
