Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I lost more than fifteen pounds with my last medication switch, which means my bras fit right again. I refused to shop for new undies at the previous weight (BMI: overweight, both when uberfit and not, thankee) because that was serious. But I did shop for outerwear, which means I have a bunch of size 8 clothes that I don't know if I should keep or not. They could change my meds again, or my metabolism could age out.

Wait! I just noticed Opera 10 does spellchecking in text entry boxen. Don't like.

I think I last bought bras 20 lbs ago. Haven't bought undies in 40.

My summer clothes fall off. My mover was laughing at me when I binderclipped my shorts to my shirt on moving day. Another problem. I have one pair of jeans (of 2) that I don't have to hike up every other step (and the larger, I can walk out of if I'm not careful.) And some of my tops are falling off my shoulders.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to be at this weight. I won't mind losing a little more, because I'm feeling myself. Funny part is I'm pretty sure it is the added stress (in a good way) of my current job jumpstarting a formerly depressed system. Especially when I dropped almost 10 lbs the week leading up to closing.

But I HATE shopping and it is becoming urgent at the most inconvenient possible time. As it is, I've been putting off buying travel clothes for this reason alone.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

We'll fly into Atlanta (where I hope we can see Ginger).

That will be great. Let me know if there's anything I can do at this end.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey! My left mouse button seems to have regenerated on its own! It's like a miracle. I feel the need to go to many flash-based sites and click on things.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh damn. I'm a bad daughter. My dad called twice and I didn't call him back. My mom called this eve and I answered. She called to thank me for the mother's day flowers.

Then she mentioned that my sister's liver transplant (!!) happened on the 24th and she just came home yesterday. And then she said my dad is having a cardiac cath next week.

I SUCK AS A HUMAN.

No you don't. You've just got a lot on your plate.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Kat, you don't suck. You have a life of your own--I'm sure your family understands.

Found cat! Shot the antibiotic in her mouth. Now she hates me again....

Did it work better than your previous method? Did she meow, thus making it easier to shoot it in?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

David, we leave for Bellingham June 1. But we'll be on the left side of the country until September, when we'll be in NC through November, and then back in B'ham for the forseeable future after that. There will be togetherage, I promise.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Whoa, Kat, your sister had a liver transplant? That's... wow. I'm glad to hear she's home now. How's her recovery going?

She had to go back in for a second 4 hour surgery for a complication. But it's going to be a long long recovery.
