Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Franny was pretty tiny in the tush department when we bought hers, and they fit her. They were the only training pants I could find in a 2T, so that may be part of it (even if they run big, 2T will be a lot smaller than 4T).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Can you imagine?

Well, I can but I wrote an article about her career.

She's a go-go dancer (with Teri Garr) in several of the beach movies from the early sixties. She's also in some major experimental films, most famously Bruce Conner's "Breakaway" from the mid-sixties. And she's in Easy Rider too.

Also, she choreographed several of Bowie's seventies tours, and started the Lockers dance troupe (the ones that pioneered popping and locking. The guy in the Dirty Vegas video? That's Don Campbell who invented popping and locking and was in the Lockers with her. Other cast members included Rerun from What's Happening?)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Nathan Fillion is wearing a leather kilt on Craig Ferguson.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

[...]illusory relationships can buffer people against loneliness or sadness.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I should not be awake. Tomorrow will go badly.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Today is going badly.

It must be a planet-wide thing.

Joy. I'm being screwed around by social and medical services. Last time it took eighteen months to access everything I needed. Looks like this could be a repeat performance of that.

I'd console myself by watching all the new episodes of stuff I've been saving up, but I have to go on a field trip. To a medical museum. You couldn't make it up...

“Not dead yet!”

It must be a planet-wide thing.

Mercury is in retrograde, the little bastard.

I slept, which is good, but today is going to be chaotic around here which is going to make me cranky. I'm fortifying myself with coffee.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Mercury is in retrograde, the little bastard.

More horoscopes should begin like this.

I have a rather hilarious astrology book called The New Astrology, by Poppé Folly.

"Aries in the First House is naturally opposed to Libra in the Seventh House. The Seventh House is that of harmony, partnership, marital pleasures, mutual cooperation and compromise. The First House is that of throwing javelins at people (no necessarily people you don't like, either)."

Taurus - Your Fantasy: "That Bruce Springsteen will fall in love with you, marry you, give up rock and roll and get a job managing an import/export company."

Scorpio's Weak Points: "Apart from your sense of humour, your weak points may be your back and your sexual organs - which, considering the use to which you put them, is not surprising."
