I hung up another picture! (OK, fine, the screw was already in the wall, probably not its final location, but for now? I hung up another picture, OKAY?!)

Oh, tommyrot, that's sucktastic.

Here's another link to throw in: [link] It and Teppy's link both have numbers I think you should call.

And as for the cat issue... do you know for sure that both cats are territorial? How old are they? There's a way to do it where you slowly expose them to each other so that they don't see the new animal as an invader. This is a good summary; I know there are some cats that would never go for it, but a friend of mine used to introduce cats & kittens & dogs into her house with that method, and all of her pets have gotten along fine.

Also, figured out they did hang new wallboard over the lathe in 2 of the bedrooms (master and balcony.) Wonder how bad the walls were?! I found this out because they didn't behind one of the radiators and the lathe is exposed there. So they must've stripped the plaster off. Iiiinteresting. I'm guessing in the last year because the unpainted area on the wallboard that is behind the radiator is only a first or second coat.

Bedroom that has plaster has old water damage/patching due to the downspout having leaked. Seems to be remedied now.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I have a friend that is dealing with a possible future eviction-- due to the sale of where he is living. SF laws are pretty tenant biased -- and even with out a lease they have to formally evict you. I might find out what your rights are and then watch how it goes. In my friend's case, there is no good reason for him to make it easy on anyone. And there probably isn't a good reason for you to make it easy either. There might be ways to come up with a deal from them -- If they really think things are your fault, it is cheaper if you leave willingly

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Pretty and original use of CT scanning.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I want to CT scan *everything* now. And possibly not eat for a while. But scan, scan everything!

Punishingly Intricate

In more random news, msbelle, did you know that Rich from fourfour (also the VH1 blog) has a twitter that is all about what song is in his head? Because he does.

What is his twitter name or whatever??? I need to know! Love him. LOVE!!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am too lazy to go get it, but it's in a recent fourfour post.

Man, tonight's Criminal Minds was shockingly sad. But NOT five minutes over time, like it said, which screwed up the rest of my taping!

Jesse is mocking me.

Oh, and I sent the bat people a note asking if they could put in a happy mother's day greeting since there wasn't space on their form. I got a nice note back from the founder saying she'd be happy to and thanking me for my story (I told them how I picked that bat because of his kitty rescue story, name and how my parents also do an informal TNR like the bat people got involved in, thus it was perfect.)
