UPS is the devil, Strega. I once had them leave a "you were not here" note when I was home all day long (and awake, and not in the shower or anything). Apparently they didn't bother to, oh, RING THE DOORBELL.
This happened to us twice last week! I do like some of our delivery guys, though. And picking up at the UPS place was fun, in a motley cast of characters kind of way.
I can only assume you will be fighting crime.
My brain is now insisting on coming up with the spec for a particularly weird superhero movie.
Have you guys seen this hilarious video thing from MoveOn? It's hilarious -- be sure to put someone's name in. [link]
(That's right: Hilarious video is hilarious.)
Try here, Seska.
Even more superhero movie specs...

Where did you go to pickup? I hate UPS pickups, because although there's a depot near me, I'd have to go downtown to get my package. NSM. For Fedex I only have to go as far as Manhattan Beach.
Aargh. I developed a massive stomachache just as I finished preparing lunch. I ate it anyway, because I only nibbled food yesterday, and I feel predictably lousy.
At least the construction is quiet today.
I'm so sorry my kids inherited my crappy teeth. We're now preparing to go through the same dental process with Olivia--only she has far fewer cavities than Owen had. But they want to put crowns on her baby molars, just in case.
Fuckity.
flea, I think, if you want to grow it out to do something like Cynthia Nixon--her straight, choppy cut was sassy and sexy. Plus, I think it looks pretty low maintenance.
Where are my damned Twilight DVDs?
Whoohoo, Maine!!
My whooohoo Maine! is tempered by the fact that when I lived there a gay rights law was passed by the legislature and then repealed by the voters in a special election.

I remember that, sadly. I also remember that I read the movement in support of keeping the law as is was underfunded and badly organized (basically, the same problem CA had with Prop 8). I'm hoping they've learned from that mistake.
Ha! That is awesome, Jesse! Though I have to disagree with the reporter's final statement... it's totally the same thing!
Right?
