This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

Our wings are not tired.

Watching the rerun on free HBO. I'm going to be a pathetic blubbering fool by the end. Overwhelmed by the awesome moment in our history. Imma sap here. Not fighting it since it feels good.

That's cute, Jess!

msbelle, hope the only remaining drama tonight is football. Those parents sound...annoying.

I'm getting excited about this trip. (As opposed to trepidation about the logistics and missing work.) It's less about actually being able to witness that exact moment, more about being part of a bunch of people who are there to celebrate something positive and important. (And lets me get all civics-geeked out. Thanks, Mr. Smith!) Getting to share that with Taylor is special.

Also? I LOVE PETE SEEGER. I was singing along in my house. I love that song. It was a staple in my quaker youth groups. We'd rewrite it to describe landmarks around Ghost Ranch and belt it out. Talent night the last night of the annual regional meeting always included everyone singing the entire original and our local version.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We're watching the Steelers game now. I keep texting my BiL who's a huge Pittsburgh fan. He's a little tense.

Hearing Poe's "Hey Pretty" in a car commercial is disconcerting.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How does U2 keep getting better looking?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Adam Clayton looks amazing

Holy carp, yes.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

They look really damn good, yeah. Wow.
