'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Given people like me, who are willing and able to eat leftovers for breakfast, and cereal for dinner... well, there's no reason that ANY meal can't be the Best Meal of the Day.

Speaking of which now So Delicious is making a coconut milk-based milk substitute that my incredibly sensitive tastebuds can't tell from the Real Thing, so I'm going through a Corn Flakes Anytime I Fell Like It phase.

Oh, no, Jilli! I'm sorry!

I love that picture of Obama and Biden sitting at the table waiting for their burgers.

... now I want a burger.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry about your job situation Jilli.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Of course, because I'm dark like that, some of my serials get tagged for Gacy, Ed Gein, Aileen Wuornos. But I don't usually have that much to say anymore.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

If msbelle lived within driving distance of me, I would be tempted to pay her to come here and beat my house into shape. We moved in August. Are paintings hung on the wall? Is every single last box unpacked? NO.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I moved three years ago. Do I have anything on my walls at all? NO!

Actually, speaking of cleaning things out, I was just checking to see if I could drop off my old computer at the local electronics store (they'll take old stuff for recycling for a minimal fee) as well as take a few things over to Goodwill. They're both open until 7:00 on Saturday night, so I think I'll load up the car after I get off work at the bookstore and drop everything off. We're having a booksale for charity here at work next week, so I'll be bringing in books tomorrow.

She's a damned miracle worker, I tell you. Honestly, I think there is only one box that might not be unpacked anytime soon (photos and letters), and the rest are just waiting for me to figure out where I want to hang things on walls or on furniture/storage I don't yet have but will sometime soon (and they've been opened and inventoried.)

And it has only been 10 days.

Jilli, I'm so sorry about the job!

“Not dead yet!”

You know, I've never been one for over-the-top trampy clothing-- never could pull off the look all that well.

So explain to me why I'm half in love with this dress?

It's so terribly Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors.

I don't think that's over the top. I think Stacy and Clinton would love it. If it were all-over animal print, yeah. Just as an accent? Cute.

That's exactly why you're in love with it. I would never wear it, but I think it's a fun dress.
