Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Holy shit, it's mobbed here at the Derby party. I don't know if I'm going to make it to the start of the race without having a panic attack.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You can make it, Tom!

New BINAO for ita: Mr or Mrs. Smith, from the movie.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can go outside and talk to the smokers.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wahoo! Just got word from the IRS that I'd miscalculated my taxes, and they owe me $500 more than I expected!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Not ita, but clearly MR. Smith!

Just back from the NICU reunion. It was great to see the doctors and nurses and there was a mob (literally a mob) of people. People form groups based on when they were there, so it was funny for us to see Chris and her daughter Shae whose b-day party we went to a few weeks ago.

Also, so many multiples. Not just twins, but higher order multiples. At least 3 quad sets (one with a very pregnant mom which is an act of faith if you ask me) and many triplets.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Four kids really sounds like a lot to me!

I just bagged up a ridiculous number of shoes and boots to go to the Goodwill. Someone who doesn't really care about current styles and has big feet could be very happy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just got a second jury duty notice, with the same information as the first one.

I guess they really really want me to show up.

“Not dead yet!”

You can show up in a Jeffster t-shirt.

(Just got mine- it's BEAUTIFUL in a really horribly wonderful sort of way.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I just finished getting my family pump organ loaded with the movers for its trip to CA and the relatives who are inheriting it. All well and good, except for the 15 minute wait that turned into an hour and 40 minutes. Oh well. I had a book, and it was a nice day to sit around storage facilities.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Shir, your cousin is utterly adorable.

Rivalled only by my own niece, Flo, who is eighteen months old and is the cutest child in the world. [link]

But your cousin comes in at a close second. ;)
