Oh speaking of Leif. Last night I overhead a conversation between Emaryn and Leif. I quickly realized that Emaryn was quite clinically explaining how sex works to Leif. I told them it was time to brush their teeth, which it actually was. This is what happens when you have a kid that reads, well, everything with words on it.
ant to make time to go see Fast & Furious on Sunday.
mmmm.....vin diesel
good ma ~~~~owen.
This weekend: depends on weather . It is raining now, but if it stops, than there will be gardening. DH will be working on a table top with friend T. then on sunday we will be bringing it over to my sister's house so it can be sized. there may be brunch.
I've never done this so wondering if it is possible: has anyone gotten a dental insurer to reverse their denial of general anesthetic?
Cash, I know you said you promised Owen some Legos for this; what I want to know is, what are you getting for yourself, for getting through the stress?
I truly love you guys. He came through so well, I'm just happy to have a healthy, imaginative little dude. He was so good waiting to go back to surgery, one of the nurses asked us if he had been given a sedative. Nope--he was just fascinated by all the cool stuff around him. It helped that everyone was nice and the doctor had lots of experience with autism.
I think I told Cindy recently that no surgery is minor when it's YOUR kid.
I'm now off for a nap while DH builds legos with Owen and Olivia. You guys rock in every respect.
Allyson, I hope you enjoy your last day and subsequent vacation. You deserve it!
YAY OWEN!

Have you gotten your dentist to say that the anesthetic was medically necessary?
I guess? The dental surgeon did the paperwork. I guess I'll just pay for it out of pocket.

See if the dentist will either contact the insurance company or write a letter saying that the anesthesia was necessary. We had to do it when husband got his widsom teeth taken out. They put him in twilight sleep, the insurance company denied it, and then the dentist said "No, one of the teeth was impacted, it really had to be done this way."
