I'm a little confused by some references to Souter being one of the more liberal justices. I thought he was the most moderate/centrist of the conservatives?

Where's a good place other than Ikea to look for free standing cabinets and islands and the like? Not really finding anything that speaks to me at Ikea for that sort of thing.

I love Crate and Barrel for that stuff. They have a chiffarobe that I want for our bedroom.

Best treat ever? goat cheese and fig spread on crackers. MMMMMMMM.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Also, Chifferobes! Unfortunately none of those match my current bed. But I wish it did because it would solve my dresser/storage issue.

That 30 Rock thing is a To Kill A Mockingbird reference, yes?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I thought he was the most moderate/centrist of the conservatives?

You are thinking of Kennedy -- Souter is on the liberal wing.

OMG, look at Big Lots (Odd Lots?). I went there the other day and kitchen islands were like 75% off. After spending years looking for one for my NYC apartment I was mightily annoyed, but perhaps my loss is your gain!

You haven't seen To Kill a Mockingbird?

Both the Right and the Left thought Souter was a conservative. It turned out he has a brain and is not afraid to use it. It was a pleasant surprise.
