Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

hear hear sara. so much this. We are not 10 years into the path, but I am having to plead with people to do their work in a system, because that is what we have. Yes it is not perfect, and yes what we have has many errors, but let's fix them as we can, not throw up our hands and avoid it. I use this thing everyday, but I only one small part of it - I need two others to help out when I discover errors - if we tackled each issue thoroughly when we find it, this thing could be near-clean within a year.

Coding and Sleeping

The workspace in my development process software is named Californication, that's kinda weird.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Don't get me started on the endless re-hashing of things that aren't right, but are over.

He's always doing this, but when you say, ok, so write me up a spec and I'll take it up the food chain, he demurs. Which... well, we know this already. Why must we engage in this theater every single damned time if you won't fight for it when it counts?

Swear to god, I'm afraid that one day I will be very undiplomatic and tell him to either be a part of the solution and do something or shove it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

An xkcd specially for Jesse.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I don't follow the Buffy/Angel thread, so I'm posting this here: Before watching Lost's 100th episode tonight, check out 14 other sci-fi milestones

Both Buffy and Angel's 100th episodes are mentioned, as well as recent scifi shows....

I went to KFC to grab lunch. Now I'm wondering how much sugar is in their coleslaw.

Don't tell me until after I've eaten it....

eta: KFC grilled chicken is very nummy....

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh GOOD LORD.

I took the day off because I have a thousand ducklike things nibbling at me, including calling about preschools and maybe calling about a new place to live (willing to move to be in a better school district somewhere down the line).

Also, I played with Grace. I was given an envelope with her appointments this month (ENT, GI, Pulmnology) and I lost it in her room somewhere. Don't know where or how. But seriously? What's wrong with me.

Why am I so disorganized. It's like I'm the one who is two!
