It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!

And now we know why, what with freedom having the biggest tent.

Our wings are not tired

You should apply and see [link]

Looks like it takes an act of FL legislation and a $60,000 application fee.

Coding and Sleeping

Video of police in Denmark stopping bicyclists, hugging them, and giving them helmets.

I suppose if I ever get pulled over for speeding I could just ask if we can just settle this with a hug. I'm sure that would go over pretty well.

Yeah, I wonder if they'd accept the $60,000 in Pirate Dollars....

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Police in Denmark may hug cyclists without helmets, but don't try hiking naked in Switzerland.

really, I don't have to make stuff up

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yeah, I wonder if they'd accept the $60,000 in Pirate Dollars....

They likely didn't take it in jesus dollars either.

I'm pretty sure it has to be U.S. dollars. If it weren't for Bachmann you might also be able to pay in the one world currency.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I wish more reporters would make it regular policy to ask politicians "what the hell does that mean?" I think we'd all be better off if they did.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've seen tile-floor fear on Dog Whisperer. Cesar almost didn't have the strength to force a great dane across an apartment lobby. But they all got over it eventually.

I saw that ep! And it wasn't just "eventually," but almost immediately--Cesar had that guy walking through the school within nine minutes, iirc.

And, go me! I just had a meeting about a new web application we're using for government websites. A few weeks ago, I decided to step it up and take charge of some things instead of being always the minion (I have been here 16 years now), so when they asked for volunteers to be app administrators, I spoke up. Well, the other admin and I had a presentation on the app to some of the editors, and between us, we hit all the highlights and actually sounded like we knew what the hell we're talking about. Yay!!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

He definitely hates the tile. He was thrilled to discover that through the miracle of our second-floor deck, that the outdoors is available up there.
