Today... I was unable to attend the funeral of a high school friend. I got to my bus stop in plenty of time this morning only to discover that I didn't have my wallet. Walked home for wallet and grabbed a cab. Half way to work the cabbie pulls over next to a disabled cab because he knows the stranded passenger and wants to give her a ride which is fine, but she took her time deciding to actually get in the cab while I was running late for work. I spent a very long day at work and discovered that the man I'll be assisting for the next two weeks likes to make loud farting noises any time he isn't talking. (It's going to take a huge effort to not scream at him, "What the fuck is wrong with you?! Were you raised by a pack of 7 yr old boys?!) At the end of the night as I was walking toward my apartment a bus splashed me from head to toe.
I really wish I could spend tomorrow curled up on the couch reading a book with the cats sleeping on my legs.
Aw, aurelia, sorry for your awful day.
I hope you could spend tomorrow with the cat, the couch and the book too.
And wtf with the dude, seriously.
No such luck. I'll be sitting next to fart boy.
Ugh, aurelia. I'm sorry for the sucky day.

msbelle -- shouldn't you be asleep?
Fuck it, I'm wearing sandals to work. It's going to be 90, and I don't have any bandaids, and need them for my baby toes if I'm going to wear real shoes barefoot again. It's still April!!
And I just heard that you shouldn't go to the ER if you think you have swine flu, which makes sense -- you probably don't have it, but probably have some virus, and people in the ER don't need that.
I wanted to wear sandals but my toenails are a mess.
Up early again. We'll see how long this lasts. Would have been here @ 7:30, except I got here and remembered I'd forgotten MK's shot (routine is somewhat disrupted now. Will have to set an alarm for that) so raced back to do that. I love that if I hit all the lights right, commute is 5 minutes, otherwise 10.
I wore sandals yesterday and my feet are cut to ribbons. So even though today will be even hotter I'm back in my regular work shoes with socks and blister pads underneath. Ow ow ow.
