What is the difference between a pandemic and an epidemic?
I think a pandemic is bigger. Or maybe multi-national?

Them is kerfuffle'n words.
Pan = widespread/global; epi = confined to a single location (which could be a school, or a town, or a small country)
the 1918 flu may have had nothing to do with swine
I still think the safest course of action is for everybody to eat as much bacon as possible. Get those pigs before they get us!

Thank you. My mom asked me last night and I realized that I didn't know. I feel like I didn't hear the term "pandemic" until ten or fifteen years ago, but I also feel like that about the terms "hoodie" and "wifebeater"
At least the 1918 flu gave us the sparkly vampire.
I need to send Shir some homemade buckeyes.

Mmm... Me too!
Actually, I just want food. Must go in search of lunch.

Thanks to information learned early from b.org, I now know this is a reference to Twiverse vampires since they apparently sparkle. I still assume this is because Twiverse vampires like to wear lots of that glitter makeup which is popular with the primary demographic that reads about them.

Shir can really has some homemade buckeyes, and have it well. Shir doesn't know yet what homemade buckeyes are, but she has funny assumptions about it.
Shir also has unending statistics homeworks.
