And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm here. Watching TMz, just one of my terrible tv habits I've picked up during unemployment.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm here. After skipping about 600 posts. But I hope you're asleep by now, ita.

Right now, not only song, but anything can make me burst into tears. Statistics and some things I don't wanna do are on the list. Don't. Wanna.

I misread this as “The Pirate Life of Sherlock Holmes”, and I was all excited to go see it.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I had an epiphany early this morning that the reason my neighbor was asking me about whether the floodlight bothered me in the bedroom and to let her know when I was moving out was because she's worked a deal with management and she's going to take over my apartment after I leave.

Of course, now I know that makes no sense because management already offered to move her and there are at least three apartments already sitting empty. And if they were going to only let me move to the other garden apartments...

I'm not giving this any more thought than I've already wasted.

Midnight f***ing epiphanies...

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

God dammit. Seems like I really suck in statistics. I just don't get the results I should be getting.

Time to leave that aside, and looking for articles. Again. This day is just so. much. fun.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

G forgot to look for Luna before we went to bed, and discovered at 5 am that she was still under the bed. Luckily, she's shy and quiet...

Big Boss just came around and left bottles of hand sanitizer around the office.

“Not dead yet!”

What's the song most likely to make you burst in tears.

Huh-- depends on the contex, I guess-- I'm so easily manipulated by music. But a couple of reliable ones are "Broken Vow" and the score to "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story."

Big Boss just came around and left bottles of hand sanitizer around the office.

Lewis is going to do the same thing at his store-- as many people and handled items as they come in contact with, it's only common sense.

ita, please stop falling down.

flea, I totally missed the shooting. How sad and scary for you all.

I am moved. Not unpacked, but moved. I spent $1.5K on washer and dryer and a/c units yesterday. That was with a 10% discount. Need to see if mover guy will install because a) the big ones are 65lbs and b) I'd like to see it done right for future reference.

Oh and goddamned Verizon, I have no internet yet. And they are saying May 5. To which I go WTF, my neighbor has DSL and last time I got it 3 days after I placed the order. So, seriously.

The flu thing is mildly surreal to me. Frankly, most news is surreal to me because I'm in such an odd headspace.

Oh, and I get to make use of my home warranty already. Yay?

I was at work at 8 fucking o'clock. Eastern exposure, sheet for a curtain, warmish room, Loki discovering the existance of birds and going crackers at the screen. May have to invest on some metal screen/grate so he doesn't slash the fiberglass ones.

God, I have so many phone calls to make.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

How exciting, sarameg! I'm glad that things are progressing. It took me a couple months to recover from the house-buying/moving experience, truly. Give yourself guilt-free permission to collapse now and then, K?
