Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have been trying not to move. TiVo's been very helpful, but I still feel whiny. Did I mention I chewed up my top lip when I fell? Every time I woke up during the night my lips had clotted together. Now they're lubed up with Vaseline, so hopefully they will heal separately.

Now that my laptop is busted I have to make a trip to the bedroom to use the internet, so not so often today, with the big limp.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen made the local newscast tonight of the health and safety fair.

The rest of the afternoon, we were taking an expedition into outer space.

I managed to squeeze three loads of laundry in between that and called in Chinese take away for dinner.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Today is six months since Bob and I married. We have spent this important anniversary attempting to pill Immanuel Kat. So far, much less successful than the marriage.

“Not dead yet!”

Popping in for the first time today so I'm going to meara a bit.

ita, ouch! I'm not sure which part sounds the most painful-- probably the knee. And yes, you definitely need cabana boys.

flea, I was reading about that shooting and was hoping to hell it wasn't someone you knew personally, even though college towns can be so small.

Um, yay no more Happy Meals, mac!

Yay, Owen on the news.

Bummed about Bea Arthur.

I'm exhausted-- drove two hours to and from Orlando today to pop into the last day of a romance conference. Didn't actually attend conference stuff other than the booksigning and that was mostly to see friends and hang out for a bit. However, it's the most I've been up and about in five weeks so I'm sore and kind of hurty in places, so I suspect tomorrow will be all about lying back and recovering.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just watched WALL-E. Adorable. I wonder if Michael Crawford gets any royalties.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I heard from sara, the move went fine - all done in 4 hours. The bed is all set up and she's unpacked most of the kitchen. The cats all seem to be doing well.

Swouncing

Skipping (yeah, sigh) to post that, according to Kat "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Apr 26, 2005 9:57:12 pm PDT today is Isaac's birthday.

Happy birthday, big boy! With lots of wishes to burrell and Franny and all your family, as well!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo Birdies for Isaac. It's 72 here and going to be a fine fine day.

Thanks for the sarameg update!

I got my Unemployment federal extension (2nd out of three possible) yesterday, so my job search is just a little less desperate. I may yet end up as a temp office worker, the way it's going.
