Dear Universe, I would like a week-long staycation, with the caveat that everyone else in my house has to go to work/school/daycare on their usual schedule.
I'm kinda going to get this in a couple weeks once my semester ends and Franny's still in school. Of course the glitch is I'm supposed to use all that extra alone time to clean, weed, redecorate the master bedroom, and write. But the way I look at it, a few indulgent outings won't hurt the budget.
I think it's been around 18 months since I've been alone in my house for more than an hour.

If there is one thing we can do, it's facilitate procrastination.
There's pretty much a direct correlation between how much I'm posting and how much I should be doing that I'm avoiding.

Yeah, this doesn't happen often for me either. It is so cool on the rare occasions it does happen.
I sometimes get jealous of my wife who has the house to herself for 7 hours like a couple of hundred days a year.
I see the CNN poll is 'Do you know any women who have left men for women?' with 42% saying yes. Is this supposed to be a new trend or something?
There was an Oprah show on that topic a couple of weeks ago, Gud.
So is this now a trend because it was on Oprah or on Oprah because it is a trend?
