Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

there's an author with my name who I've been mixed up with.

Your real name is also the name of a guy I work with, only he spells it wrong. Freaked me right out when I first saw you in my Facebook people-you-may-etc., because I was thinking "how does (other guy) know all these Buffistas?"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

That's the thing, there are several people from highschool who are older then me and I totally know who they are - they haven't friended me (and well I rarely friend anyone, just confirm people), but I totally get that. I guess you just tend to know the people above you in grades, but not so much the ones below you.

“Not dead yet!”

Also, has grandkids (he married right out of high school) which wigs me out.

Yeah, I've had some people friend me on Facebook from high school from my year who are grandparents. Freaks me right out too when I think about the fact that Nate and Abby are 11 and almost-13 and I had them both by the time I was thirty, which to me, is having them young.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You pay attention to them because they're Important.

I have a pretty high friending threshold for high school and college. It needs to be someone I was friends with and interacted with not just a name I recognize. My threshold is much lower for friending requests I get though. I don't want to turn people down.

lisah, thank you. I did remember (I woke up awfully early this am) and was able to stop at the pharmacy on my way in.

One of my closest friends is on fb and keeps nagging me to participate in one of those application dohickeys (pirates? coves? something,) and I'm all @@. It just doesn't appeal to me. I pretty much use fb for info only.

amych neglects to mention that this guy (with whom I used to work, too) also happens to be a huge asshole. Seriously, I am kind of a peaceful person, and I once nearly leapt over a desk and killed him while 7 months pregnant. (The hormones were helping, but he totally would have deserved it.)

I can't decide what to get for lunch. Should I get a Chipotle burrito, or chicken tikka masala?

Also, nobody from high school or college has ever friended me.

Burrito, how is this even a question?

Tikki masala, especially if it comes with some naan on the side! I wait impatiently for the next time my cafeteria has Indian food so I can get some.
