In an embarrassing mistake, officials in Massachusetts have been forced to admit that some road signs pointing to Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg have spelling mistakes in them.
The typos, which are completely baffling considering how easy it is to spell Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, were revealed by a local newspaper, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, which has been covering the misspelling scandal since 2003.

My vote for most useless use of Flash is this website: [link] I went there when I was trying to get some actual information, and gave up because it was buried so far in bells and whistles. Wait for the intro to end, then click "Explore the Themes," and then mouseover some of the options on the next menu without clicking them.

Hee! I loved that sign when I was a kid. Also, I'm pretty sure it's been known for a while that it's spelled wrong. And I'm pretty sure that the lake got some really boring official name a while ago, like Lake Webster or something.

Quite a few of the links in there start videos playing without giving any warning. Like, clicking on a person's name, you have no idea whether you're going to get a biography, or an article that person wrote, or a video interview that'll start playing immediately.
