Hee-I just got this e-mail from a friend of mine who works the reference desk at a suburban library:
I had a young lady come and ask me for a good book on anatomy. I told we had Gray's Anatomy. She replied she needed something like a textbook, not the TV show.
It's 105 degrees right now where I am.
Scrappy, I'm sorry for your loss. If you do end up with some time this weekend feel free to contact me.
I didn't want to forget, so I pulled out my headphones, and HMOG.
And then show it to your dad.
Heh.
It's 105 degrees right now where I am.
My heat just kicked on.
LA types, check this out. [link]

It's supposed to cool down tomorrow, and then again Thursday.
Not that it's worth much right exactly now.
Ugh. I'm on the makes-me-feel-grotty but at-least-it's-not-a-bad-migraine medication, and the building's shaking with construction in the apartment above me. I guess I should reach for more anti-nausea meds.
That's awesome, I'll have to keep an eye out for them!
Oooh, I need someone to pick up a 12 pack of the Get Lit cards for me! [link]
See, that's what happens. You hang around with people who KNOW stuff and you get spoiled.
