Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Punishingly Intricate

It really is so much better with parsley -- I skipped it last time, and regretted it.

I almost didn't get it because I end up using so little but then I knew I'd miss it!

I fear getting really sick. I will not believe that is what is going on, surely that will keep it from becoming reality.

Not getting sick! Just recovering from weird combo of not-enough nutrition this morning!

I was just reading TWOP, and I do like the Daily Show thread's nickname for Reza Aslan--Hottie Ibn Egghead.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My condolences for your loss, Scrappy.

I'm having a bowl of Campbell's beef and barley soup, with a side order of envy for all the great lunches everyone mentioned above.

Auto insurance companies can kiss my ass.

I can't drop the STBX and his truck off my insurance, which comes out of my payroll, without him calling them himself. MY insurance.

I can't get insurance on K-Bug's new car without both of us calling in cause the car is in her name. I can't even get a quote without her.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sorry about the news, scrappy.

Congrats on getting the mover, sara.

It is so hot here I want a job just for the AC.

My recruiter says things are picking up, so I hope that means I can afford to stay here and keep looking for a job. It will get much more complicated trying to do it from somewhere else.

Art Crawl!!!

scrappy - I'm sorry for the loss.

ita - I hope you can stay too! I'm glad things are picking up.

I had callaloo (sp?), and a pork chop with veggies and key lime pie for lunch.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. My California rolls are made with mock crab, not the real thing.

I've decided that anything from Dominicks with mock crab just sucks beyond belief.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, ita, I hope things do pick up for you.

Reza Aslan--Hottie Ibn Egghead.

Heh. I was probably the only person in the audience who was psyched when some actor (I forget) didn't show and he was the guest one time when I was in the studio.
