Which is all that's necessary. This is very stressful and you need to factor that into all your expectations. This isn't one bad day where you suck it up. This is you with all of your necessary stability and all that it does it sustain you, taken away.
You have to think of yourself as somebody who is dehydrated. That's not a moral failing. You just need more water. In this instance you just need more stability than the situation will allow.
So give yourself little sips of stability when you can. Do a little less each day for others, and a little more for yourself. You need to give yourself those little sips to maintain this trek across a dry time.
