If you really combined lunch and breakfast, you'd be serving stuff like ham and swiss on pancake.
Croque Monsiuer? Which is like a ham and cheese kinda french toastified, right?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

The next communication sensation. www.swearing.com. You make short 70 character entries that must contain at least one profane word, and people can subscribe to your swearing. It would be something like this.
I would totally sign up for this.

I haven't heard of that, but put it on a stick and it sounds great.

Jesus Christ, I would motherfucking sign up for this, cocksucker.
There's a local restaurant up here in Northbrook that's become known for its Eggs Benedict--it serves eight different types on its breakfast/brunch menu. But I associate "brunch" with a buffet-style meal more often than not.
Watch the Irena Sendler story on CBS tonight.
I saw this last night. It wasn't too bad, considering it was a Hallmark Hall-of-Fame Holocaust movie, which can load up the cliches until they become a mountain. Anna Paquin was very good in the title role, but they probably could have boosted up the plot points; I became a bit bored (instead of inspired) with seeing her taking kids from their parents in the Warsaw ghetto and relocating them with loving Polish families. I also wish they had done more with what happened to the kids after the war. It was nice to see the actual Irena Sendler speaking at the end of the film, though.

I would try and fail to get my department to switch from Twitter for the next conference backchannel channel. Two people would egg me on, five would never have heard of it, and the rest would just @@.
I do brunch almost every Sunday. They like to put us in the back because our conversation tends to horrify the other patrons.
I need to have a brunch at my place again some day. They were always fun, and it's been too long.
I can't really wrap my head around a buffet-style brunch.
