My daughter's teacher was really impressed by one of my daughter's poems. She's actually written several poems and I think a number of them are really good.
This one was about our beagle Fenris.
Time to play.
Chase Thor. Fight Thor.
Play with toy. Chase toy.
Chew on toy.
Rest.
Ask for a belly rub.
Relax.
Outside? Let's go!
Bark. Howl. Run.
What fun!
Sunbathe.
Food! Eat.Eat.
Sniff.
Inside! Get feet wiped.
Polish off plates when no one looks.
Belly rub, please?
Add some photos and that's a illustrated children's book waiting to happen.
We framed the poem alongside a picture of her hugging Fenris.

Actually that would be a terrific project for her. She has a camera and I could help her put it together on the computer.
Happy Birthday, Sheryl!
Harper's Island:
Did you guys think that little dog was a goner? Because I did. But I suppose she wouldn't count as one of the murders. That's a powderpuff Chinese Crested, isn't it? I thought that the two hunters were finding Uncle Marty's body when they found the deer and the blood writing on their truck. Which one do you think that the "psycho" was directed at? Shane? Because suspicion is going to fall on JD, isn't it? What with the death of his new girlfriend.
I knew I was forgetting to watch something last night.
sumi, on Harper's Island I thought
the dog was going to discover Uncle Marty. Because so far they haven't found anyone but the girl who wanted to go to L.A. with Abby, right?
It's fun so far. And I told you I was watching it, Perkins!
Huh.
I'm guessing that
if the teams had actually tried to complete the scavenger hunt they would have found the minister
and that
the killer has moved Uncle Marty's body somewhere.
