Woo! Congratulations! That was the first marathon I did. It was so much fun with the characters cheering us on and all. Great job finishing!

I'd never been to Disney, and my friend I was with the whole time is very familiar with it, so the novelty and the narration helped me want to keep going.

That looks like so much fun! Aside from the actual marathoning, of course...

As the years passed, most Americans were able to return to life much as it had been before 9/11. But I never did. Every morning, I received a briefing on the threats to our nation.

First, you didn't before? Second, you've already said except Sunday, but I suppose Sundays don't count. Third, apparently natural disasters don't count as a threat.

And, most importantly, do you really think you are the one most affected by 9/11? Seriously, on behalf of my friend from high school who lost her husband of umpteen years (we all went to prom together), I found that incredibly offensive.

Man. Four more days. Well, 4 days and 30 minutes. I can hardly stand the wait.

We watched the pictures for hours since we were home when it happened. Awesome to be transfixed by good news.

I shocked myself and actually finished the Disney Marathon I went there to attempt.
