Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That's when I turned and said, "It's got an inline six, you moron. I'll be damned if I'm buying a car from a guy who a) can't pull his head out of his ass long enough to speak to the customer and b) doesn't even know what he's selling."

If Cass ever gets hold of a TARDIS this will be one of the first ten or twenty things she'll go and watch.

True story. He said he couldn't issue the check because my husband wasn't there. We had a very serious chat with his supervisor.

This is TARDIS worthy too. 4 realz.

One of my coworkers years ago was about your size, Sparky. Late in her pregnancy, her husband was out of town for a week. She'd come to work in slippers or barefoot and get her boss to put her shoes on her (why she didn't have more slip on shoes, I don't know.) We learned this when he left a meeting early saying " I have to go put Betty's shoes on."

NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR GMAIL TO TELL ME IT IS UNREACHABLE.

Our wings are not tired.

Also, what's with the spate of baseball deaths?

As with everything in baseball, I blame both the DH and Bud Selig.

Sarameg, deep breaths, deep breaths.

They pay me in WOIMS

I made a checklist at work today, and I checked five things off of it!

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Maybe it's my crime fiction background, but maybe Designated Hitter *is* as scary as it seemed when I first read it.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

My last move I left the bed as a bare mattress and slept in a living room chair for the first night. (I'd spent the previous 4 years mostly sleeping on the now-absent sofa and occasionally in a large bedroom with big windows and transparent scrim curtains - no way was I falling asleep in a windowless 10x11 cubbyhole.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Go checklist, and checked off things! Having a productive day at work myself.

Our last move was a biggie, but the one before that the SO did almost entirely himself and furthermore had the bed set up and made before I even arrived with the van. It was great.

Coding and Sleeping

Every move, I tell myself, this time we're not going to rent the cheapest POS truck we can get and do it ourselves. And yet that's exactly what happens every time.
