Kat, I looked back through about two weeks of Fresh Air listings and came up bupkis, though at least I found an interview with Mike & Mel from the current The Amazing Race that sounds like it could be fun! When were you listening to it?

Theo, it was yesterday, after the financial oligarchy guy.

OH! I should try my local station's website!

K. & I should chat, eh? Right now our house is All Hockey All The Time, With Bonus Mythbusters.

Ours is too.

Yesterday K said, "Next thursday I'm not going to hockey so I can go to Anaheim to see the ducks." Um. Ok. Makes no change in my plans!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My daughter's soccer team finally had their second game a few days ago after three canceled games in a row.

Looking all Goalie Like

The weather was cold and extremely windy, but they still got the game in. They lost 3-1 in an all girls vs. all boys match. Fortunately she didn't get upset about losing, they did win their first game 6-3 which probably helped in that regard. Ran into the first annoying parent at that game. He was encouraging his son to get rough and sure enough his son committed a couple of fouls, pulling on jerseys.

Her team's main problem in the match was not being aggressive enough when getting in near the opponent's goal. They'd make a kick that got the ball close and sort of let up. Well one of the girls is always aggressive, the smallest one on the team which is just sorta adorable.

Leif's team still hasn't gotten in a second time. Four games in a row have been canceled because of weather. One of the canceled games was a make-up game.

It's driving his coach crazy.

WHU?!?!? new house? and it's already fixed?

Yes. Really. Panic attack from the seller. I'm gonna be looking at certain things very closely.

Closing in a little over 24 hours. I think I'm writing the check today. Between meetings.

Work's about to blow up too. The next 6 weeks are going to be a very rough. I'm pretty sure I am in the midst of one giant panic attack. Just not the completely debilitating kind. Or something. Physically, I'm all kinds of screwed up and I've dropped maybe 8 lbs in a week, which is NOT usual. And I'm eating!
