You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Kennedy and Humphrey wanted to speak at a local firetruck factory, but rules prohibited them speaking there. So they asked around for the name of a "prominent farmer" they could visit, and my dad and gramp's farm came up.

So my dad is in his barn clothes that are pretty messy, and he gets a call, "Is it OK if Kennedy and Humphry and photographers from Life and about 20 reporters show up in 20 minutes to talk to you and take pictures?"

Oh, my mom and dad were dating at the time. The first time my mom's parents saw a picture of my dad was on the front page of their local paper - it was a wire service photo of my dad with gramps and JFK and Humphrey.

edit for clairity

Not javachik

I'm loving the morning topic on one of my rare days of reading Natter.

I got up early today (5:45) to come in to work early, but I lay down for a few minutes at 7:15 because my eyes were so tired... then didn't wake up until 9:30, when I should have been turning onto the freeway. Argh.

It takes me, like, 2 to 3 hours to get out the door in the AM. I'm amazed at how fast most people get out the door.

Do most people go to sleep 8 hours before they wake up? So you 6 AM risers, you go to bed at 10?

Our wings are not tired.

Tommy, what a wonderful story.

Because it matter to you so, Allyson. And interviews are scary. At least to me. But it'll be fine and you'll do well and they know and unless they are stupid, they love you. You've got a good shot.

And then you'll bank some vacation up and come visit and see my current source of terror.

(I find it funny, in a you've gotta be fucking kidding me, that my one big nightmare? Ceilings falling in due to water? HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. Though not on my tab. BUT FUCKING STILL. I've had nightmares about that scenario long before I even was serious about a house.)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Very cool, Tommy.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Most nights I'm in bed by 11 for a 5:30 wake up. Even when I get 8 hours of sleep my ass is dragging in the morning. Whatever I happen to be doing, I want to keep doing it. Awake? Want to stay up all night. Alseep? Wanna sleep forever. I'm not a finisher.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Tommy, that's very cool.

So, in the evil ranking for colors of leather pants, what level of evil does a caramel-colored pair signify? I want to know if I should be worried about one of my fellow bus riders.

I never get enough sleep. I'm usually in bed before 1. Aim for midnight.

Probably another reason I hate waking up in the morning . Though to be fair, pre-MK, if I went to bed at 2, I woke up at 9 anyway. So I'm probably getting enough, I just hate waking up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What a fantastic picture! So cool.

I don't have anything to watch on TV, so am seriously considering going to bed now, since I didn't sleep well last night.
