Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Punishingly Intricate

I am so bad about getting up with the alarm. But it's usually set for about 6:50ish and I get up by 7:15 or so. (Unless it's a 6:30 yoga day.) Give the cat his shot, put together lunch, eat breakfast, shower, walk the dog in some order usually dependent on the dog. Try to leave by 8:40 to get into work by 9.

Often I am slow though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have two coworkers who work from home in California. One of them wakes up at 9 and starts working then, so it's a huge burden for her if we have to schedule something in the morning in New York. The other one starts working by 6 local time, because she's already up with her kids, and I swear some days she has already worked out by 6am. Bananas! But it's great for her, because she can stop working when her kids are getting home from school.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Back when I had the 80-mile commute I had to be out the door by 7:30am to make it to work by deadline. But early mornings were not a happy time as Casa Matt.

I am so bad about getting up with the alarm.

Once I discovered my OT Alarm Music ("Morning Mood" from Grieg's Peer Gynt), the alarm became a lot easier to handle.

In other news, the cleaning people moved my desk trash can last night, which I noticed this morning, but didn't do anything about. So I then proceeded to throw trash on the floor all morning! (I can't see the bin when I'm sitting at my desk, but I know where it is... or isn't, as the case may be...)

Well, Bob's alarm is the one we'll use when he moves in. It's a lot nicer than mine. Mine is obnoxious and, yet, doesn't really get me out of bed!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Did I mention I am going to the panel discussion about Dr. Horrible tonight? [link] I think it should be so much fun!

I'm going to that, too! Also Dollhouse tomorrow night!

“Not dead yet!”

A lot of mornings, Lewis lets me stay in bed while he gets up with the alarm-- what's funny about this is that Jasmine will then climb up onto the bed and settle down for an "after alarm" nap-- this last about a half hour, then Pisces will hop on the bed and say, "Okay, time to get up lazy-- time to get up and lavish love on me and let me out and feed me and did I mention lavish love on me?"

Puppy alarms. Gotta love 'em.
