I can't water down orange juice. Cranberry? Grape? Sure. But then adding sucralose? Ick.
Also weird--this season's The Unit.

When we were kids, we used to drink Welch's grape juice mixed with 50/50 soda, which produced a really refreshing fizzy fruity drink.
I'm 5'2", and I'm boggled by how many women I am taller than when I go to the grocery store. And it's not just the little immigrant ladies.
I was 5'6" when I was 10. I just never got any taller. After I towered over everyone in my class for a couple of years, it took me several more years to realize that I was not, in fact, tall.
Huh. Never mind the actual numbers, you definitely carry yourself like a tall person, Ginger, because I'm positive we have met F2F not just once but several times, and I could've sworn you were at least 5'8".
I was always one of the shorter people in my class, right through high school; I may even have put on an extra inch or two in my first year and a half of college. I'm always startled that anyone is shorter than me. I'm the second shortest woman in my family, and definitely take after my dad's side.
The other day on the subway, I was sitting down, and there was a woman standing in front of me. I was thinking that she was an enormous woman....until I stood up, and we were about the same size. Maybe she was a leeetle bit bigger than me. But still. Oops.
Studies show that we are forgetful before a move and for about six weeks or so afterwards, so I was told by a psychologist once. It's the whole discombobulation thing. Just expect it, because there's no way to avoid it and nothing you can do about it.
So I guess I have an excuse for forgetting to switch my office key to my new key ring, thereby not being able to unlock and use my computer at work today.
I think I was 5' or less when I was 10. Lots of girls were taller than me. I was normal height for a kid until I had my growth spurt in 9th grade. Then I kept growing until I was a Junior or so. (I'm 6' 3".)
ION, dentist thinks I have a gum infection (an xray didn't show anything amiss). Currently the pain is limited to a wisdom tooth - the same tooth where I've had a couple gum infections 20-ish years ago.
I have no dental insurance. The whole thing cost me $50.
Dag, I supposedly have dental insurance, and the last time I went to the dentist (cleaning + x-rays) it cost me $40.
For me, a cleaning and full x-rays are about $75 or $80. Today he just x-rayed and cleaned around the one tooth.
The Obamas are just way too cute for words. I'm tempted to start an ObamaOverload website.
