Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh snap -- they already moved Kings to Saturdays, as of now. Bummer.

I think the chaos is getting to Devi. She's being especially mean to Loki after weeks and weeks where it was getting better. She nailed him across the nose just now, and she hasn't done that in ages. Poor kitten. Uhg.

So, due to my lack of shows at the moment, I'm watching Dateline. They're talking about something happening in a casino (doesn't matter what), and they show some dramatic blackjack while they talk over it. The only problem is, what they show is someone doubling down on eleven (always double down on eleven!), but the next card they get is an ace. That's the worst! Not at all a lucky deal. I think not what they were going for there.

Trust my rage

I'm sad about Kings. I've got the whole family hooked now.

I'm having a moment of I took too big a bite fear. I want to crawl into bed and have someone else deal with the next two weeks.

But I can't and I won't and it'll be fine.

It will be fine. You will continue to freak out, but it will be fine.

Yes, exactly.

I whacked my ankle riding today and I think I should have iced it right away. Ow! Ice (er...frozen artichokes) on it now.

Hey lisah, what's your schedule like next weekend and then the one after that? I figure cleaning, window coverings, maybe painting or not depending on what the seller did and minor moving (stuff I want to transport myself) next. My other Lisa has volunteered her minivan and arms and husband, so may not need that much help. The next weekend is her kids' school fundraiser, so I don't get them then. If I do the main move over that weekend, I'm gonna need someone to be the other me as I a) move cats b) tend to cats c) supervise movers. I'll also as T's parents for help if I need it. And hey, reminds me, I can also ask MY NEW NEIGHBORS as well as other Lisa's friends from today. (The female half of the couple was Lisa's intern 4 years ago and was hired here in the last year.)

All tentative right now.

ugh I'm super booked up--I have big yardsale next weekend then I'm going up to Wilmington for my mom's birthday. The weekend after that is our big show and Bob is in town. There may be a weeknight where I could help out. Let's email! I wish I was available to help more.

No big. Once I get the keys, I'll send you my schedule and we'll work out something. And like I noted, I've got other options. Just figured I'd ask. I've always been other Lisa's babysitter for the fundraiser and I hate punting on that, but it just won't work this year.
