“Not dead yet!”

Zombies mash-up author receives rumored $575,000 for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

::sigh::

At this point, if I DID have a good idea for a paranormal/vampire book, I'm so perverse, I'd probably fight like hell against writing it. Just... 'cause.

Work is slow. I have already filled out 1.5 divorce forms. There are just two I have to get done for the initial filing. After that...a BUNCH more.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've never seen so many old old photos of gay couples....

I wouldn't assume those people are gay. Standards of physical affection in public differ in different places and times. For example, in recent times in Turkey it was common for close male friends (not sexually involved) to hold hands.

I'm having more trouble dealing with the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter than I was with the P&P&Zombies book, or even the Jane Austen mysteries.

Not sure why. It just seems... disrespectful.

When I was in the USSR, it seemed like men were all over each other in comparison to what I was used to.

3 more boxes done. Kitchen cabinets are 90% packed.

This weekend, I will be packing. Shocking. But sunday I'm going over to L's for a bit to hang out.

I'm hoping to get the bulk of my closets done this weekend. Down to the clothes I'll be wearing in the next while and all the shit I need to go through and trash. Like that stupid old suitcase that's broken. Somehow in there I also have to do all my normal weekly shopping that won't be possible sunday.

I hate being packed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey ita, you know Darren Levine from Krav?

I'm checking out a potential new-to-me car in the morning, then working, then going to my sister's for overnight/Easter Sunday.
