This is a four day week? Nobody told me.
Oh wait, I don't get Good Friday off anyway, at least anywhere that I've worked.

We're gov't workers, so we get Monday off for Easter Sunday, as well as Good Friday.
I was talking to my sister last night, and they discovered this week that my BiL had a mild stroke several weeks ago. I guess he has a little numbness on one side, but that's it. Still scary though.
Jesse, could you come up here and do some data entry for me?
I have so much to do today, both here and at home tonight. Avoidance is really attractive and yet not at all helpful.

I almost would be willing to do it! If not for the fact that there are actually people here who would notice if I was gone.
My U gives us Thurs, Fri and Mon as holidays. Someone has to work though, because the library is open and it's so close to finals, so I'm here. Blah! (But it gives everyone else the long weekend, and I hope they remember when I'm out most of the summer.)
Would be a regular old 2 day weekend here if I weren't taking vacation. I am not sure if it hold true anymore, but commercial banks used to get a bunch of holidays - I thought I would be getting in on that. Trading side banks, nsm - stupid market always being open.
stupid market always being open.
Actually, tomorrow is one of those weird days where the markets are closed, but the banks are open.
see? STUPID. They can't even follow their own rules. And our counterparts in Europe get approx 800 days off a year.
Our UK and Canada offices are closed Friday and Monday, but not the US. It is VERY unfair.
stand with me on my pillar of righteous indignation.
