World's first 3D HDTV remote surgery system allows fantastic precision
Now even the clumsiest doctor can perform incredibly precise microsurgery with this latest da Vinci Si Surgical system, the only one in the world that operates in 3D HDTV. Using four robotic arms and one channel of HD video for each eye, the system reduces and filters a surgeon's movements to an ultra-tiny scale, allowing minimally-invasive surgical procedures that aren't possible using conventional means.
I did mean to say how nutso it is that your tax guy got arraigned, msbelle. I forgot because I was on a conference call with our new database people, and the most important feedback we were giving was that there should be a space after every comma in a sentence. Yes, every comma.
For a moment there I was thinking someone got a remote control surgically implanted.
That Stargate wedding cake is pretty impressive.
Sorry, about the tax guy problems, msbelle. At least you learned he's bad enough to get caught before he did this year's taxes.
Scary!
Also, scary re: tax guy. We use turbotax and like it.
My whole day has gone up in smoke. Scrambled around this morning getting the trash taken out, clearing the woodstove ashes, the van unloaded and reloaded, packing the buffalo meat to take to the school.
And then we drove off without the meat. Which was sitting on the counter in the cooler. It might have still been okay when we got home, but it was a lot of meat to risk if not. So then we drove all the way back home and tried to call the school to tell them we'd be late.
Loaded up the buffalo cooler. And then we can't get hold of the school. Nobody at the office after several tries. Nobody at the personal numbers we have. And today is their first day back from spring break, so we're dubious. Are they back, or not?
Not wanting to drive two hours to find out, we figure we'll reschedule, get errands done today and try to hit them later this week. Hopefully the SO will get hold of them over lunch hour while he's getting the car in the shop.
But yeesh. Not how I expected to spend my day.
OTOH, I started my freezer leftover crockpot stock today, so now I'll be home all day to smell it smelling good while it simmers.
Ha. I love that I posted Scary in response to Spongebob, then took a long time to post, but by the time I did, there was something else scary posted! I don't think I could use a taxidermied mouse for my mouse. Wrong tactile response, I think.
he has now emailed me back with his address. I am so uncomfortable emailing him back with a thanks but no thanks.
Yikes, msbelle!
So I need to go over to the house and check something but I haven't been able to get away from my desk except for meetings and this is all very frustrating and I have another meeting shortly.
And while I wait for my meeting, Loki is a lazyass cat, no wonder he is getting fat. He was lying in the kitchen this morning as I was getting ready to leave and as I watch, he stretches a paw over to the food dish, still lying sprawled on his side,
scoops out a couple bits of kibble and brings them to his mouth.
Cat wouldn't even get up to go over to the dish!
Nah. Don't worry about it. He knows what's going on with him, and I'm positive you're not the only client he's lost over it. Be polite and professional and it'll be fine.
