Did I mention I am going to prom this year? Not the Buffista Prom, but actual prom?
Hee! I take it you got tagged for chaperone duty?

Any testers looked at CI's cassoulet recipe? Are they INSANE? 24 hours of cooking, involving 4 cups of duck fat. Yeah, I'll get right on that.

::drool:: That's why I've never cooked a cassoulet but I order it whenever I get the chance. So insanely rich and delicious.
but where would I get a good date?
I suppose the HS is out of the question.
It sounds delicious if someone else will make it for me...isn't that what restaurants are for?

It's where I'd start.

Well, given my cholesterol results, call me when you're next ordering it and I'll have just the one bite.
but where would I get a good date?
Hot principal?
My cholesterol isn't great, so I tend to avoid the duck fat these days as well.
I'd totally go to a HS prom, but where would I get a good date?
Study hall.
I can't remember my numbers, but while my overall cholesterol is high, my HDL is so high compared to the LDL that my percentage is on the low end of good. Despite having high-blood pressure (controlled by medication, but it still creeps up and my meds need re-calibrating). The last time I saw my doctor, he said I was about a 5% risk for heart disease with the numbers I'm carrying. Maybe he's selling me a line, but, lord knows, the health problems I feel are all joint related (or sinus related on occasion), so I'm going with his diagnosis until I hear otherwise.
