Happy birthday, Tom! And woo to Theo's mom! That's great news.
My company finds out at 11 whether we are getting this certification we are going for. We've been working hard on it for months. If we get it we can bid on lots more contracts which = continued employment for me. Which would be nice. So, if you guys don't mind sending some positive results -ma B'more way in an hour that would be great. I'm pretty anxious about it (and the rain...stupid hole in roof).
I hate the rain too, lisah. I predict more anxiety nightmares tonight.
Good to hear about your mom and no pain, Theo.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone!
I took the day off from work, but I still went in for therapy this morning; I'm still recovering from that.
I'm also anxiously looking at the weather radar. The system seems to be very fast moving, so hopefully the t-storms will have all passed through before tonight's baseball game.

Hey, did you get the name of a good roofer from your soon-to-be neighbors? If so, could you pass it on? A good roofer is very hard to find.
I haven't, but I did see some recommended on the neighborhood listserv and I *think* I made note of it on my laptop at home. I'll let you know. Also, if we see 'em tomorrow, you can ask!
My broker just called me quiet. He's got clients who send him a bazillion questions everyday, ask for reassurance, etc. I'm like, I have the most vanilla mortgage ever. If it got any more vanilla it wouldn't be a mortgage. I understand it. (Just don't ask me to explain the equations how interest is calculated. I could do that once, but now it is too much thinking.) You need paperwork from me, you ask, I send it. It's pretty straightforward.
I informed him I was just spewing it everywhere else and my mother certainly thinks I can't talk about anything else.
Tom, I wish you and mac could compare notes on therapy being hard, but, well him being 7 and all, plus the whole nightmare that would result should he discover I discuss his therapy with anyone.
ION - sara, I only have about 7 boxes for you and some bubble wrap. I had planned to get more today, but the rain is going to make that impossible.
Trudy: I'm so with you on the
Carter/Kem front. Why couldn't they have him fall in love with somebody who could actually stand to be in the same city as him? Or who wouldn't want him to give up everything else he loves in order to be with her?
So annoying.
